Bona-Fide Dental participates in Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).
Medicare funds the preventive dental care schedule available for children between the ages of 2 to 17 years and is a means-tested Government scheduled benefit. Generally, children from families receiving Family Assistance and those that qualify for Austudy are eligible. An eligible child is entitled to a comprehensive dental care capped at $1,000 over two calendar year period.
All general dental care including examination, diagnostic x-rays, cleaning, protective fissure sealing, tooth extractions and root canal therapy for older kids are provided by CDBS.
CBDS does not provide for in hospital treatments, specialist care such as orthodontic or cosmetic procedures such as teeth whitening and veneers.
