At Bona-Fide Dental there is nothing more important than your safety and comfort.

We want you, our patients, to know that we are closely monitoring the situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19).

We understand the concern and confusion you may be feeling during this challenging time, particularly as there is so much information and misinformation around.  We want to assure you that our staff and management have access to the latest advice from Queensland Health, Australian Department of Health, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Australian Dental Association (ADA).

For us at Bona-Fide Dental, it is normal to practice the highest standards of infection control to keep our patients and our community safe.  It is simply what we always do.  And since  Coronavirus has become a global issue, we have implemented even more steps to ensure our practice is of the highest standard  and so you can continue to visit us with  confidence.

We understand that some patients may wish to reschedule their appointments, but importantly, please know that if a tooth is giving you problems or you have a dental clean or major work booked in and would like to proceed as usual with your scheduled appointment, we are here to take care of you.


What we have implemented in response to COVID-19:

At Bona-Fide Dental, we continue to practise the highest standard of infection control protocols in accordance with the ADA guidelines. These guidelines are designed to minimise the spread of infectious disease including Coronavirus, COVID-19.

Hand sanitiser is available at the front desk and we recommend that you apply upon arrival.

Detailed and thorough surface cleaning of the clinical rooms is carried out between each patient and with the appropriate  disinfectant.

We use face masks, gloves, specialised dental practice grade surface disinfectants and instrument cleaning solutions and hand sanitiser for both our staff and patients.

We screen all bookings to ensure the safety and health of our patients.


Protecting our staff and wider community

Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to ensure that our patients experience the very best dental care.  We are committed to  improving the health of our patients.

Should a staff member become unwell they will be required to self-quarantine and will return to the practice after being cleared by a doctor.


Your Duty as Patients 

Our team depends on you to be vigilant and help us keep our community safe.

If you are unwell, please stay at home to prevent further spread of illnesses.

Additionally, if your child is over 12 years old, we ask that they be allowed to attend their dental appointment independently.  This will keep numbers down in the waiting area.
